Open Access Policy

The journal Sociolingvistika operates under an open access model, publishing its content under the Creative Commons — Attribution 4.0 International license (CC BY 4.0), which can be accessed via the official website of the non-profit Creative Commons corporation at https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/.

This license permits users to copy, distribute, and modify the materials in any format and through any medium, as well as to use the content for any purpose, including commercial use. The sole requirement is the proper attribution of authorship and the original source of the material. Specifically, users must provide proper citation of the article’s publication details, link to the original source, and disclose any modifications made to the content. This attribution does not imply any endorsement by the journal’s editors or a sanctioning of the manner in which the material is used.

Upon publication in Sociolingvistika, authors retain all copyright to their work without restriction. Authors are free to use the published content in the preparation of subsequent works, including books, educational, and methodological publications, and to disseminate printed or electronic copies of the article for scientific, educational, or other purposes. Additionally, authors may share the article with colleagues and students to further promote scientific inquiry and research dissemination.

By submitting an article to Sociolingvistika, authors agree to transfer the following rights to the journal publisher:

  • The right to distribute the article or any part thereof on any medium, including as individual works or as part of journals and databases, at the discretion of the publisher or journal founders;
  • The right to publicly disclose the article or any part thereof, ensuring unrestricted access to the content from any location and at any time, including via the Internet;
